Arclite Lichtvertrieb GmbH was founded by Stefan Woelke in Ahrensburg in 1992.
Today, the company is managed by Stefan Woelke, Matthias Gehrmann and Andreas Ruge.

Germany still remains arclite's core market, but countless customers are now also supplied throughout the whole of Europe, in the Middle East, the Far East and the USA. This attests to the fact that international expansion is at the forefront of our growth strategy.  

In March 2003 we moved to our own company building in Bargteheide, where arclite^® now has over 600m2 of office space equipped to the latest standards.

In the neighbouring high-bay warehouse, measuring 600m2 in floor area and 11m in height, arclite^® stocks more than 4,000 different lamps. We also stock large quantities of luminaires.
